How to Keep Your Golf Towel Wet All Round (and Still Have a Dry One)
Most golfers know the feeling. You wet your towel on the first tee, and by the third hole the whole thing is damp. Now there's nothing dry left for your grips or your hands.
Why one towel usually fails
A regular golf towel soaks up water across the whole cloth. Water travels from the wet part into the dry part, especially when the towel is folded or stuffed into a bag pocket. Within a few holes you have one soggy towel instead of a wet one and a dry one.
The two-towel workaround
A lot of players carry two towels: one wet, one dry. It works, but it means more to carry, more to clip on and more to lose at the turn.
A better way: one towel with a wet end and a dry end
The Big Golf Towel has a ribbon sewn across the center. The ribbon acts as a barrier, so water stays on one side and the other half stays dry.
How to set it up before your round
Wet one end of the towel. It doesn't matter which end.
Wring out the wet end so it's damp, not dripping.
Hang the towel on any club through the hole in the middle.
Keeping it working all 18 holes
Don't ball the towel up. As long as it hangs flat, the dry end stays dry.
Re-wet the wet end at a water station or ball washer as you play, and wring it out each time.
Use the wet end for clubfaces and your ball, and the dry end for grips and hands.
Caring for the towel
The Big Golf Towel is 100% microfiber. Don't use bleach when you wash it.
